Albert Eugene "Gene" DuBois Jr., age 83, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away at his home with his wife, family and friends by his side.

Mr. DuBois is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Eula Fann DuBois; sister, Ann DuBois Heath and her husband Milt of Murfreesboro; along with many loving extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Eugene DuBois Sr. and Ruby Porterfield DuBois; and his infant son, Darrell Eugene DuBois.

Mr. DuBois was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He attended Buchanan School. Mr. DuBois spent much of his life farming,  transporting milk, and hauling cattle. He was also a School Bus Driver for many years.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brian Harrell will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Adair Lowe, J.C. Alexander, Gene Baxter, Lanier Lowe, Brian Worley, Billy Worley, James Jernigan, and Brian Alexander will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mr. DuBois can be made to Gentiva Hospice.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
