Mr. Roy "Alan" Neff, age 65, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away August 25, 2017 with his family by his side. Alan was born in Hannibal, MO to Franklin and Joann Neff. After graduating Hannibal High School, Alan lived in Alaska for a few years before returning to Hannibal. Alan was a 30 year employee with Great River Gas/Atmos Energy in Hannibal before relocating with Atmos Energy to Murfreesboro, TN in 2003. Alan cherished his friends and co-workers. He enjoyed flying and duck hunting in Hannibal. However, he loved to prepare meals for his family and loved ones.

Alan is survived by his wife of 26 years, Melissa Neff, and their children, Jared and Alexa Neff, of Murfreesboro, TN; father, Franklin Neff of Hannibal; siblings, Kathy (Tom) Oakson of Lawrence, KS; Terry Neff of Hannibal; Jill (Randy) Ford of Wichita, KS; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Neff, and an older brother, Wayne Neff.

A private family graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal with his cousin, Pastor Mike Neff .
