Agnes Adams Thompson, age 96 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday July 17, 2012 at NHC of Murfreesboro. She was native of Cannon County but had lived most of her life in Rutherford County. She was the daughter of the late, Shelah and Allie Edge Adams. Mrs. Thompson was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Thompson who died in 1996. Graveside services 11:30 AM Friday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Earl Davis will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Thompson is survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, and was a former employee of Davis Department Store, and retired from White Stag.
