Aaron Baskin, age 89 died Sunday September 28, 2014. Mr. Baskin was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late Grover C. and Maxine Burkhart Baskin, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hutchins Baskin, and his brother G. C. Baskin, Jr. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Hargrove and Chaplin Lee Douglas will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Fireman Honors. Mr. Baskin is survived by son, Tim V. Baskin of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jennifer Duba, Michael Greer, Roger Baskin, and Brian Baskin all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Baskin was member of the Baptist Church and retired Captain with Murfreesboro Fire Department. Pallbearers will be Wayne Reed, Fines Lloyd, James Gray, Harvey Barrett, Charles Caffey, and Andrew Jarratt; Murfreesboro Fire Department will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
