A.B. NIPPER, age 82, of Murfreesboro, Tn. died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Northside Nursing Center. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Bilbro and Betty Wright Nipper. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia V. Nipper; daughters, Virginia Phillips and her husband, L. M. of Murfreesboro and Teresa Fay McClaran and her husband, James of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jody Phillips, Marsha Carpenter, Heather McClaran and James McClaran; great grandchildren, Sam Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Kirsten Carpenter, Katelyn Carpenter. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dan Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel Mr. Nipper was a member of the Baptist Church, and retired from Herberts Roofing Company of Nashville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Willie Jo Pruitt. Active Pallbearers will be L. M. Phillips, James McClaran, Jody Phillips, Patrick Carpenter, Ray Tomberlain and David Graham.
